Bitcoin Price Rises till 8999$ | Bitcoin High near 9000$
The exchange in question is World Exchange Services, better known by its acronym, WEX, where the bitcoin price inexplicably spiked as high as $8,999 during intraday trading. Despite a brief pullback, WEX’s BTC/USD market is currently holding steady at $8,000 — a full $1,600 above the trading pair’s global average.
Crypto Wallet Founder Believes Bitcoin Could Hit $60,000 This Year
Cryptocurrency values have taken a hit as of late, but movement on the regulatory front has lifted many observers’ spirits. One crypto startup executive (Julian Hosp, co-founder and president of TenX, a crypto wallet) believes bitcoin’s price could hit $60,000 this year, despite its dip from a near $20,000 high in December to the $6,000 range.
$22 Billion Wiped Out of Crypto Market in 24 Hours as Bitcoin Drops Under $6,400
Since early morning of 11 July 2018, the crypto market recorded a steep fall from $274 billion to $252 billion, demonstrating a 7 percent decline in value. The drop of bitcoin from $6,700 to $6,400 caused other major digital assets and small tokens to experience intensified movements on the downside.
